For those of us born in the last two generations (mid 80's to now) we can't really say we're the most spiritually enlightened individuals. I mean we all have something we really believe in, maybe its fashion, money... a good time. But are any of us really being fed spiritually? There has to be a reason why (not all) but ALOT of today's youth has literally no interest in in going..".there." You know those topics all our genertaions are dying to talk about. *sigh* You know Faith, God, praying... Ah and the light bulb goes off.
As for me I know its taken years for me to get where I am spiritually, after years of confusion, dissapointment, and lies I witnessed coming from every "Religion", in the end I find myself a Christian. Which is not so much a "Religion" but a way of life to me. Naturally this decision came much after and not before I had no faith at all! I suppose we all go through it. The phase between believing or not believing at all. Then there's that one thing that either turns us away or towards our spiritual enlightenment. A life altering experience, good or bad.I'm curious if there is more youth out there that believes in anything or cares about anything anymore, other than Beyonce' giving birth to a child she named after a color and a deadly plant.
In the end I suppose I'm just curious, whats on our generations mind today? Just for a brief moment see what happens when the subject of today isn't SEX, MONEY, or CELEB LIVES. Instead on spirituality....on faith. Now don't take this as me trying to push my beliefs. Just curious to hear others too. What is your answer when someone asks you what you believe?
